A book review with a twist...

The year is 2041. World War III only lasted six days and Canadian farmer Peter Stevens and his daughter Rebecca could be the last humans truly living, chaperoned by a purple Domesticbot with a pompous British accent.
That’s the premise for All the humans are sleeping by John C.A. Manley, the first in a trilogy about what the future could hold for humanity if we choose to merge with technology in line with today’s transhumanist agenda, albeit an extreme version – or is it? You can make your own mind up when you reach the twist.
Despite the bleak existence for humanity that Manley paints, it’s a very enjoyable, well-written and entertaining read.
According to main character Peter, ‘the robots won’t let us go to heaven and the humans have made Earth a living hell’! Nuclear war has left the world ravaged and now all the humans are sleeping in high-tech pods in bunkers beneath Earth’s frozen surface. All except Peter and his daughter, Rebecca. According to Peter, the one billion ‘survivors’ chose ‘for their minds’ to live in a virtual purgatory in the metaverse, hardwired to the internet – a solution offered by the United Nations, which made me smile, considering the UN’s official mission in the real world includes maintaining international peace and security. I suppose putting us all to sleep would be one way to achieve that. The UN is also renowned in alternative circles for much darker purposes, which would make it quite fitting too, but back to the book…
Before the war began, their lives were already irrevocably changed by environmental treaties signed by the Canadian government, which saw the first emergence of 15-minute megacities. By that time, robots and AI had already replaced humans in many ways, carrying out the cooking, the cleaning, the farming. Even the paramedics were bots, while the countryside was designated completely off limits for the average human.
After the Earth is nuked, Manley paints a truly dismal existence for Peter, his daughter and their robot chaperone Domestico, who observes Peter’s battle to keep himself and his daughter human while surrounded by the inhuman techno pods, which are like man-made wombs in a makeshift bathtub, where the body goes to wither while the mind ‘lives’ on in a digital fantastical hell. Will they succumb and join their fellow men and women into that digital hell? You will have to read the book to find out.
While you might expect this to be a dull or bleak read, Manley’s writing finesse actually makes it a joy. Domestico (the robot) is probably my favourite character, who easily (and rather worryingly) often shows more humanity – and creativity – than the so-called humans who are still alive. But what I really loved about reading this book was the unexpected places where it made me laugh. Out loud at times too. I particularly enjoyed the opening of each chapter, which features an extract from a book written in 2291: The Rise and Fall of 21st Century Man. For me, this is a really ingenious way of pointing out the ludicrousness of humanity’s decisions, beliefs and actions, some of which I see mirrored in the world today.
There are many examples I could highlight here, and while I don’t want to give too much away, I did find this one rather amusing, under the chapter heading ‘Terminated’: “Decades of preparation, some believe centuries of planning, went into the demise of twenty-first-century man. So much patient effort for so much pointless destruction.”
And I’m sorry, I loved this one too: “Governments spending impossibly large sums of money was so commonplace in the late twentieth and early twenty-first century that it went relatively unnoticed.” (That sounds familiar, doesn’t it?)
This is the last one I promise, because it really made me chuckle: “The greatest difficulty with Metaverse technology was not creating the virtual reality interface. Rather, how to keep the flesh alive and healthy for years of inactivity. It would have been simpler and less costly to have transferred their brains and spines into jars of antiseptic liquid. But, of course, that would have been inhumane.”
I’d forgotten how entertaining those chapter introductions from the Rise and Fall of 21st Century Man are. Or maybe it’s just my sick and twisted sense of humour. Regardless, I’d buy a book compilation of them in a heartbeat!

The twist… have we already become the machine?
So, where are we at with transhumanism today? And does it have any real proponents? The simple answer is yes, and its story becomes quite sinister the more you peel back the layers...
On the surface, transhumanism seems to be a growing movement. A quick internet search reveals it already has enough momentum for a transhumanist conference to be staged this August (2026), which describes itself as a ‘summit on the mind, technology and the future of life’. During it entrepreneurs will apparently discuss their work and how they see the future, philosophers will debate the ethical questions the next decades pose and scientists will talk about the science that will shape the century. An American political party already exists too, called the Transhumanist Party, which is apparently a growing movement fighting for the future of humanity, pursuing a peaceful political revolution for longevity, and whose members seem to believe ‘death is wrong’.
Meanwhile, the likes of Yuval Noah Harari, Stephen Hawking, Jeffrey Epstein and Ray Kurzweil are/were all known supporters of transhumanism, which some describe as just another term for Nazi Germany’s eugenics programmes conducted during World War II. Indeed, it seems the word ‘transhumanism’ was originally coined by ‘notable biologist and eugenicist’ Julian Huxley in the 1950s.
Merging man with machine
In The Singularity is Nearer (a term for when man will ‘inevitably’ merge with machine), American transhumanist, computer scientist and futurist Ray Kurzweil predicts that humans will achieve a “millionfold intelligence by 2045 – just 19 years from now – aided by brain interfaces formed with nanobots non-invasively inserted into our capillaries”.
This is where the story starts to take a more sinister turn. In 2013, a man called Dr. Ido Bachelet, a researcher at Bar-Ilan University in Israel, presented a TEDMED talk entitled How nanobots will change medicine. He introduced his talk with a specific ‘word of notice’ before he began: “All the technologies you are going to see here now are real.” This was 13 years ago at the time of writing. And what he shared then is still mindblowing now…
Holding up a syringe he told the audience: “This syringe has inside it a thousand billion robots. These robots are each 50 nanometres long. 50 nanometres is about 2000 times thinner than the thickness of your hair.”
Built using a single strand of DNA, he describes these nanobots as being like ‘computers the size of molecules’ that can be controlled by a computer and interact with and control other molecules to direct drugs developed by pharmaceutical companies more effectively, which he theorises could eliminate almost any disease.
He goes on: “These robots were born three years ago… but over the last year and a half at Bar-Ilan University we’ve been developing and testing robots for a variety of medical and therapeutic tasks. We’ve invented ways of making them safe for use and non-imunogenic, and we learned how to tune their stability in our bloodstream to fit either short-term or long-term – even days long – medical procedures.”
That’s the altruistic argument. Remember this information, for there are important inferences to be drawn for the disturbing argument that follows...
Nano Sapiens – the covert microchipping of the world’s population
According to a whistleblower set to feature in a documentary by the makers of Died Suddenly, this technology is not only real, it has already been implemented on a global scale in what could be the largest covert human experiment the world will ever know.
On August 19 2024, this whistleblower got in touch with the makers of Died Suddenly and told them: “I can tell you something internally about the nanobots in the covid vaccine. It had nothing to do with healthcare and everything to do with acquiring data…”
Blinking lights and nanotech in human blood
Since the covid vaccine rollout, a number of independent researchers have claimed to find self-assembling nano technology in human blood. Blinking lights, microrobots, quantum dots or self-assembling nano technology have all allegedly been seen. The claims first surfaced after researchers began viewing the contents of different covid vaccines, using dark-field microscopy techniques. These same findings then started to be observed in human blood of the vaccinated. Yet it is claimed we are all now infected, regardless of our vaccination status, as the same stuff is allegedly being found in the air we breathe too.
‘Intelligent evil dust’
Sound too far fetched? Moderna has a patent for the design, preparation, manufacture or formulation of modified mRNA (mmRNA), showing that nanoparticles which are self-assembling and fully programmable exist in its product (see Moderna patent US 10,703,789 B2 section 219, and work by Karen Kingston for more details on this aspect), while the existence of certain scientific papers from almost 30 years ago could lend credence to the notion of this nanotech existing in our atmosphere. For example, on 31 January 2001, the IEEE published a paper, Smart Dust: communicating with a cubic-millimeter computer by B. Warneke et al, which aimed to probe “microfabrication technology's limitations to determine whether an autonomous sensing, computing and communication system can be packed into a cubic millimeter mote (a small particle or speck) to form the basis of integrated, massively distributed sensor networks”. At that time, this smart dust – something WikiLeaks’ founder Julian Assange described as intelligent evil dust and which others believe could form part of the chemtrail conspiracy – was known to have substantial functionality, connectivity and anticipated low cost, and was expected to provide “innovative methods of interacting with the environment, providing more information from more places less intrusively”. Is it possible that same technology is now interacting with the internal environments of humanity? (Remember the message from Dr. Ido Bachelet, whose team learned how to tune the stability of computers the size of molecules in our bloodstream…) Independent researchers would undoubtedly argue yes. But what about the testimony of the whistleblower set to feature in Died Suddenly 2: Nano Sapiens?
Whistleblower testimony
“In late October 2019, I was approached by the leadership. There were five clients and a vendor in the room for the contact tracing application. The Vendor was BioNTech,” says the whistleblower in the documentary’s trailer. “One of the requirements that just changed the entire course of the conversation, and frankly my life, [was] when lipid nanos came into the conversation.”
We’re told lipid nanos are cutting-edge nanodrug delivery systems designed to protect and efficiently deliver nucleic acids, which protect their cargo from degrading and create an efficient delivery system for RNA to target cells. But what if they’ve been designed to receive and transmit data from the human body too? The documentary trailer certainly implies that microchips and tracking devices were embedded into the vaccines. And while the trailer doesn’t make clear how, according to the whistleblower, these lipid nanos are important. “From a technical perspective, if I can retrieve data, I can send data.
“All of your biometric data, your location, your privacy, it’s gone. If you took the vaccine you are the router. You are a communication device now.”
Separately, transhumanist Yuval Noah Harari has publicly advocated for the need for surveillance technology to exist under the skin. Speaking at the Athens Democracy Forum, he said: “Covid is critical because this is what convinces people to accept and legitimise total biometric surveillance.
“To stop the epidemic, we need not just to monitor people, we need to monitor what’s happening under the skin.”
Unlicensed mac addresses and bluetooth signals
Since the vaccines went live, claims have been made about unlicensed mac addresses being emitted from people. Even more disturbingly, bluetooth signals have apparently been detected in graveyards reportedly coming from the bodies of the deceased – meaning, even if the body dies, these signals continue. In the trailer, I’m sure I recognise a former UK MP saying that he has seen evidence himself of people emitting ‘unlicensed mac addresses’ post vaccination.
'A signal directed at their heads'
Since 2010, Jesse Beltran, one of the filmmakers behind the Nano Sapiens documentary and an expert in detecting and analyzing covert surveillance technologies, has been working with American citizens and others around the world who have been experiencing a phenomenon which involves hearing strange acute sounds, like a signal being directed at their heads, short-term and long-term memory loss, vertigo, nausea, vomiting, and more specifically, an electrical reverberation throughout their body like electrical shocks in their torso and extremities. In fact, they were the exact same symptoms being experienced by diplomats who were diagnosed with Havana Syndrome. This electrical signal targeting seemed to follow these affected individuals everywhere they went, even when tested by Jesse in granite caverns two miles deep. Unfortunately, their testimonies are usually not believed by the medical profession and they are often railroaded into the mental health industry, where they are forcefully institutionalised or force medicated.
Anomalous RF signals emitting from the human body
In an effort to find a tangible way to prove something was physically happening (or targeting) these individuals, Jesse and his team began conducting tests using specialised equipment (JM-20 PRO) to detect anomalous radio frequency (RF) signals or emissions, which they found were being emitting from specific locations around the human body in thousands of people. RF sends invisible signals to help devices communicate quickly, quietly and wirelessly. It is RF signals that can unlock a car door or enable you to stream music wirelessly, for example. The RF spectrum starts as low as 3kHz and stretches all the way up to 300GHz and is broken into bands like VLF (Very Low Frequency), UHF (Ultra High Frequency) and microwave.
One of Jesse’s case studies involved a woman experiencing these symptoms who was diagnosed with schizophrenia. With Jesse’s help she was eventually able to gather enough evidence to get physicians to believe she had been implanted with biosensors against her will. Three biosensors were eventually surgically removed from her body. According to Jessie, this is just one of many, many cases. Prior to the covid pandemic, when his team scanned someone who didn’t have any symptoms the test always came up negative. Since then, however, they are finding RF anomalies in everyone, whether they had the covid shot or not. He now believes thousands of people he has worked with may have been targeted as guinea pigs for this nano technology since at least 2010.
According to Jesse, this phenomena has now been recognised by the US government (after initially claiming it was mass hysteria), but only as happening to federal employees, such as US embassy staff, including the diplomats in Havana, Cuba, (who were later diagnosed with Havana syndrome), to officers in the CIA and FBI, and now to congressional members. But he says the US government refuses to acknowledge it is happening to ordinary US citizens too.
Today, Jesse describes this phenomena as a ‘covert bioweapon’ instituted on a global basis that he said in one interview has been ‘pre-planned by our US government’.
While there is not enough space in this article to present more information or evidence to allow us to form a solid opinion one way or another, there is much more information that Jesse and his team have released on promotional interviews – including testimony from an MI6 whistleblower – and what he’s exposing has certainly caught my attention. I for one am eager to watch the documentary when it finally drops (hopefully sometime this summer) to discern for myself whether it could be possible that we are all the machine now.
